Brand identity and collateral for Fury's, a Japanese Italian restaurant for rising chefs, Yael Peet and Elena Yamamoto's first self owned project together.

FURY's

At Fury’s the guest sits at the same table as the chef and culinary excellence is witnessed first hand. It is a place which celebrates authentic shared experiences.
The inspiration behind the branding concept draws from various elements: the wabi-sabi aesthetics of the interiors, the courageous and audacious spirit of our chefs and their families, and the profound artistry of Japanese cuisine.
As designers, our involvement in projects often grants us insights and narratives, yet with Fury's, we were welcomed into something much deeper—a glimpse into personal family chronicles, journeys to Japan, the professional journeys and expertise of Elena and Yael, and the compelling narrative of what united them to create their inaugural restaurant.

Our logo is bold and unapologetic and draws reference from wood cut block printing and Italian typography. Its boldness sits confidently alone and equally lends itself to overlay color and illustrations. Inspired by the art of cooking we have taken a by-hand approach to the identity. Analogue printing techniques and design methods such as custom lino cut prints, screen printing and risograph printing take us to a form where the beauty is in the imperfect.

In essence, our identity deliberately juxtaposes the interior design by employing vivid floods of color and employing analog printing techniques, all while maintaining a strong connection to the deep heritage of our chefs and their families.
